Abstract

The River Yamuna, one of the major tributaries of the Ganga, holds significant ecological
and cultural value. This research paper explores the sessional variation in algal flora and
their correlation with the physico-chemical characteristics of the river water in District
Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. By studying these parameters, the paper aims to understand the
ecological health and water quality of the Yamuna in this region. The findings are expected
to provide baseline data for conservation and management strategies.
